Analytics and reporting for a child care center
The unit in this trade is a tour that turns into an enrollment. Not clicks, not impressions, not page likes. Almost every report a center gets measures the wrong thing, which is why owners cannot tell whether the money worked.
Five numbers run the whole operation. Inquiries by source, per month. Tour bookings from those inquiries. Tour show rate, which is usually where the leak is, not the ad. Tour to enrollment rate, typically thirty to fifty percent. And cost per enrollment, which is total spend divided by enrollments started.
With those five you can answer the question that matters. If search delivers a tour request at $60 and Facebook at $30, but Facebook tours show up half as often, they cost the same and the argument ends.
Attribution will never be perfect here. A parent sees an ad, asks a friend, reads reviews, then types your name into Google. Do not chase a clean answer. Ask every inquiry how they heard about you, log it the same way every time, and trust the pattern across a quarter.
Two weeks in, working looks like one page you actually read on Monday morning.
